Who We Are

Our Founder Melissa is a busy mum of three and wife to Anthony, the Director of dMand Building Services. When she isn’t running after the kids, or helping Anthony with the Building business, Mel is working hard to make your special occasion dreams into a reality.

With her diverse background in Architecture, Real Estate, and Art, Mel was eager to discover a creative outlet that would allow her to express her passions and skills in a fulfilling way.

Mel established elmdesigns in 2018. Pictured on the right is elmdesign’s first Market day in 2018 at the Sydney Kids Style Market. At the time, she only had her two daughters Eva and Lara whose initials she combined with her own to come up with the name elmdesigns.

Being so family oriented, Mel has attended and planned many events in her time. She understands the stress of getting everything perfect, right down to the last detail. Mel and her team are dedicated to taking away some of the event planning stress, so that you can enjoy life’s special moments.
